Summer Yoga & Health Retreat

Join me for this weekend's yoga and health retreat, where we will take the time out to focus on moving and breathing to re-wire the nervous system and brain. An opportunity to press the reset button on your health for 2024.

This health retreat will be held 90 minutes north of Sydney in Killcare, on pristine acreage surrounded by native gardens. The perfect environment to relax- take a dip in the swimming pool- or a short 10 minutes to the nearest beach swim. This weekend is sure to have you feeling calm and relaxed.

For many of us, the compounding of daily stress can go unnoticed until something goes array: chronic pain, poor immunity, insomnia, tension, low energy, a scattered mind and anxiety all become a regular part of our daily existence. 

Here’s an opportunity to stop and check in with your mental and physical health, spending time in nature and learning more about settling your nervous system.

Taking the time to pause and bring conscious awareness to your health and well-being can help shift you to a new path of action and make a world of difference for months after.

This weekend retreat is an invitation to unplug and reset. Take the time to reconnect with your body and calm your mind so that you can start the year with a sense of clarity.

At this weekend retreat, we will focus on developing the tools that you can take back to your daily life that will help:

  • Shift you into a parasympathetic state.

  • Improve HRV.

  • Improve your sleep and brain function.

  • Improve your creativity.

  • Let you tap into your intuition and develop a deeper connection with your body and mind.

Over this weekend retreat, I will present some of the newer research and understandings on breathwork and yoga tools for health and healing.

Most importantly, I will spend the practical sessions this weekend guiding you through these practices to start shifting your nervous system and brain into a more therapeutic, healing and creative state. 

Rest & Restore Weekend Retreat

All aspects of this weekend have been carefully considered and thought out - however, you are welcome to opt out of any or all of the sessions and use the time as you see best for you.

When- From 3 pm on Friday, the 23rd of February to 11 am Sunday, the 25th of February, 2024.

Where- Killcare Heights- 90 minutes north of Sydney, just before you hit Avoca.

Meals- Vegetarian/ vegan meals prepared by Alison of Pachamama- @pachamama_catering - we've been talking about chocolate brownies with berry sorbet and lemon and calendula cheesecake- My mouth was watering while I was on the call with her.🤭

Daily yoga, relaxation sessions, and health presentations throughout the weekend.

Schedule outline for the retreat weekend

Friday 23rd Feb:

Arrival from 3.30 pm onwards

5 pm Relaxation practice session

6 pm Dinner

8 pm Short group orientation

Saturday 24th Feb:

8 am Morning yoga & mindfulness session

Breakfast is at your discretion- It will be available for you from 6 am up until 10.30 so you can eat breakfast at your leisure.

Free time for an ocean walk, a swim in the pool, reading a book, a massage or a nap.

12 noon Lunch

1.30 pm Health presentation session

2.30 pm Free time

5 pm Breathwork and meditation session

Group Q & A- An opportunity to ask any questions about the course content or subjects pertaining to you and gain further clarity on the issue.

6.30 pm Dinner

Sunday 25th Deb:

8 am Yoga session and meditation

Breakfast at your discretion

Free time in the morning is yours to spend as you wish.

11 am, we say our goodbyes.

Retreat accommodation options

There are only two private rooms which will share a common ensuite between them. They will likely book out quickly, so get in early.

There is one king room with a private ensuite ideal for a couple.

The remaining rooms are twin-shared with a shared ensuite. 

There is a total of 4.5 bathrooms on the property, most with large bathtubs.

Costing according to accommodation:

Twin Share: $890 per person

Early bird special = $799 pp

Private Room shared ensuite: $1,090 per person

Early bird special = $999

King-size bed own ensuite (ideal for a couple): $1,200 per person

Early bird special = $1,099 pp.

Early bird special requires full payment before the 6th of January 2024

You can secure your spot today with a $200 deposit, strictly non-refundable.

All other retreats have booked out within 3-4 days of announcing them, and this is the smallest number I've ever taken to allow for ample time with all attendees over the weekend and ensure everyone is comfortable.

***Beds in twin shared rooms can be joined for couples to make a king-size bed- ensuites are all shared with one other room. Unless specified above.

Alison of Panchamama also catered for them on the show. So you can say we're on trend. All jokes aside, it is a special spot for what I'm sure will be a great weekend.

FAQ’s

  1. I have injuries, and I struggle with yoga. I can’t do all the poses, can I still come?

The sessions are layered and appropriate to take at your own pace- ZERO experience required!

The group number is small, so you will have the option to get modifications, support, and ask questions for the first time, I will also have the option for you to follow a recording on the yoga platform at a time that suits you if you don’t feel comfortable in the group classes.

2. I have dietary requirements!

We will reach out before the retreat to get a list of your food allergies.

3. I want to camp and stay off-site can I still come along to all the sessions and classes? 

Yes I can facilitate this for a small number of clients email me to discuss further!

4. What else can I do over the weekend?

I will be organising a massage therapist for onsite sessions should anyone be interested.

You are right near some of the most beautiful trail walks in NSW for those of you who enjoy nature, for those that don't like long walks, take a drive to stunning lookouts. Lobster Beach is one of my absolute favourites; I love simply putting out a towel and listening to the waves and wildlife!

5. How many people are coming? Can I have my own room?

Yes, there is limited private accommodation. This retreat will take a maximum of 10-12 people. Please specify that this is your preference in your email.
